YAMOUSSOUKRO, Côte d’Ivoire - Betty Kouadio (18, 1.76m, Gagnoa) was crowned Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2011 at the Amphitheater of the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny Foundation in Yamoussoukro. She will represent Côte d’Ivoire in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6. Jessica Nguessan and Valerie Angoua finished second and third, respectively. The purpose of the national pageant this year was reconciliation through beauty after the political crisis that affected the nation.
